As a goalkeeper, I am often referred to as the “last line of defense” for my team. And as a member of Songkhla United FC, I take great pride in this role. Being the last line of defense means that I am responsible for protecting our goal and preventing the opposing team from scoring. It’s a position that requires a lot of focus, determination, and skill.
Being a goalkeeper is not an easy task. We are constantly under pressure to make split-second decisions and react quickly to any situation that arises. We need to be agile, have great reflexes, and be able to read the game well. But it’s a challenge that I embrace with open arms.
For me, being a goalkeeper is not just about stopping shots. It’s also about being a leader on the field. I am the one who can see the entire game in front of me and communicate with my teammates to ensure that we are all on the same page. I am the one who can organize the defense and make sure that we are all working together to keep the opposing team at bay.
But being a goalkeeper is not just about the physical aspect of the game. It also requires a strong mental game. We need to be able to stay focused and composed, even in the most intense moments. We need to have the confidence to make split-second decisions and the resilience to bounce back from any mistakes.
As the goalkeeper for Songkhla United FC, I am proud to be a part of this team and to be the last line of defense. I am constantly working on improving my skills and pushing myself to be the best I can be. Because at the end of the day, my goal is to help my team win and bring glory to our club.
